Terms and Conditions
At Greystone Guesthouse we have a strict cancellation policy to protect against our business. Please read below our policy before accepting accommodation at our establishment.
- Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.
- In the event a guest checks out prior to to the guaranteed departure date, Greystone Guesthouse reserves the right to charge you for the full duration of the original booking.
- No shows or no cancellations for a confirmed booking will result in full payment.
- We ask that should you feel unwell with Covid symptoms prior to travel, please do not travel to your destination. If you feel unwell during your stay, you must make plans to travel home immediately. Should that not be possible, and you need to extend your stay with us, you will be liable for the cost of the additional nights. If your stay is cut short due to you experiencing Covid symptoms, you will not be eligible for a refund.
- Please ensure the accommodation is left in a clean and tidy condition and should any items be found to be missing, broken or damaged that you undertake to replace or repay for said item. Please bring plastic mattress covers for bed wetters. If bed wetting occurs guests will be charged for a replacement mattress.
- Please note that some fake tan products can leave indelible stains on towels and bed linen, making them unusable. Any towels and bed linen found to be stained indelibly will result in the guest being charged for replacements.
- As the guesthouse is adjoined to a family home and to which a family resides we ask you to keep NOISE levels to a minimum so as not to cause a disturbance. In the event this is not abided by, we have the right to ask you to leave at any time day or night which will result in you paying the full amount if your stay has been cut short.
- We ask that NO fires are to be lit on any part of the grounds or surrounding area.
- No liability is accepted by us for loss or damage to guests property such as luggage, personal belongings or motor vehicle etc.
- No liability is accepted for any accidents, personal injuries or allergies including anaphylaxis to yourself. Please read all labels of food and beverage products before consuming or if in doubt please bring your own food if you have known allergies. All food products that we offer may contain nuts.
- Smoking is not permitted in any of our property and outside space.
- We do not allow any pets except guide dogs in the guesthouse.
- Please refer to the emails you are sent for arrival, house manual and check-out requirements.
- Please be aware that in some of the images, accessories are purely for photographic aesthetics only.
- Food and beverages may be subject to change and may differ from those in the images.
We reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons who we believe to not be suitable to take charge or anyone causing a disturbance or nuisance. Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and in the event of termination you will be liable to pay for the full duration that was intended.
